Multi-Athlete Stopwatch

Capture Mode KEY FEATURE
When athletes finish close together, tap CAPTURE as fast as they cross. Each tap records an exact timestamp. Then assign them to athletes in finish order at your own pace. The recorded time is accurate to when they actually crossed — not when you tapped their name.
Volume-Key Capture ANDROID
While the stopwatch is running, the phone's volume-down button becomes a capture button. Hold your phone at your side, watch the race, and press volume-down as each athlete crosses. When the clock isn't running, volume works normally.
Relay Mode
Full relay timing for 2–6 teams. Configure leg distance and lap distance. The app handles handoffs automatically — when a runner completes their leg, the next teammate starts immediately. Teams are color-coded with individual leg times and totals.
Team Roster
Your central athlete database with full projection tables. Sort by projected time at any distance. Edit one seed time and every projection recalculates instantly. Save athlete groups and load them into the stopwatch with a single tap.

- Can I import my existing athlete spreadsheet?
- Yes. Open the Pace tool, tap Import, and paste rows directly from Excel or Google Sheets. The app auto-detects names, distances, and times.
- How does volume-key capture work?
- On the Android app, while the master stopwatch clock is running, pressing the volume-down button records a capture timestamp — same as tapping the on-screen CAPTURE button. When the stopwatch isn't running, volume-down controls your phone's volume normally.
- What happens when multiple athletes finish at the same time?
- Use Capture mode. Tap CAPTURE (or press volume-down) once for each finish. Each tap records an exact timestamp. Then assign them to athletes in finish order. Undo removes the last capture; Unassign pulls a capture back off an athlete.
- Can I track attendance?
- Yes. The Roster includes a built-in Attendance button. Mark athletes present or absent, save by date, and review any past date. Export copies a full table with totals and percentages to your clipboard.
- Does it support relay races?
- Yes. Relay mode supports 2–6 teams with configurable leg and lap distances. Handoffs are automatic.
