While not required, we encourage you to put on Christmas outfits for the races on Saturday, 11/23!

The Christmas 5K starts at 10:00 a.m., so be sure to arrive at least 20-30 minutes early to allow time to pick up your race packet.  You will find your race bibs inside the packet, and we will be handing out safety pins on site.  Please make sure to attach your bib on the outside front of your body!  The race is timed but not chip-timed, so we need to be able to see your race bib when you finish.

We will have day-of registrations available for those who have not yet registered, but only until 9:45.  The 5K will begin on time at 10:00 a.m.!

When you arrive at the race location (520 City Park Drive), you can park in any of the spots from Main Street to the Depot, as well as spots closer to the Picklebar courts along City Park Drive.

Race results will be updated in real-time upon finishing.  To view live race results, visit: www.yonleyrunning.com/5k and click on the button for the 5K or Mile.  This will not be available until after each race starts.

The Kids Mile will begin upon the finish of the 5K, so approximately between 10:40-11:00.

There are restrooms on site, located along City Park Drive between the Depot and Showmobile.  Race Registration and all information will be available at the pavilion near the showmobile.  Please pick up your race bib, shirt, etc. when you arrive.  Day-of registrations will also be in this area.

The race start/finish is located between the Park Depot and Showmobile, as seen on the map below.  This is a fun course, incorporating just a short bit of sidewalk in the first half mile, with the remaining a mix of trail and city neighborhood streets.  The course is marked very well!  The most important thing to remember for the 5K is to simply follow the red/pink line, which follows the entirety of the course.  The line will be very pink in the woods, and a mix of reddish pink throughout the sidewalk and streets, but it is noticable.  We will also have directional signs in place, but no matter what, always follow the red line!  There is also a blue line in the woods, but this is for the Kids Mile run following the 5K.

There will be a water table just past the 1-Mile as you exit the woods, which will be unmanned with filled paper cups.  It will also be accessible if needed when returning to the woods at approximately 2.5 miles.  If at any time you stop to get water, do NOT stop immediately on the race course!  Step to the table and be cautious when reengaging the race course.  Try your best to toss cups into the garbage can as you leave the woods, but it's not a big deal if you miss or just toss them near the can.

Watch your step as you enter the pedestrain bridge.  This area as well as potential trip hazards along the course are marked with red/pink paint, so just be cautious.
